Inspect before you sign
- Photograph the machine from all sides before it leaves the yard.
- Check tracks or tires, and look for cracked or missing lugs.
- Look for hydraulic weeping at couplers and cylinder rods.
- Confirm the coupler works and attachments latch securely.
- Test auxiliary hydraulics with the attachment you rented.
- Note hour meter reading and fuel level on the contract.
