A sensible purchase order

• Bucket — included with most machines and used on nearly every job.
• Pallet forks — inexpensive, high utilization, immediately useful for deliveries.
• Auger — the first powered attachment for fencing, decks and planting work.
• Grapple — transforms cleanup and brush work productivity.
• Specialty tools — breakers, trenchers and tillers, which are often better rented.

Check flow before you buy

Every hydraulic attachment lists a required flow range. Running a tool below its range is slow; running above it can damage components. Confirm your carrier's auxiliary flow and pressure, and ask the seller to confirm compatibility in writing.
